In addition to the official hwalmoodo program and the general guidelines outlined in the HMD theory book, HMD Basel implements specific regulations detailed in the following section.
Membership
A valid membership with the Assoc. HMD Switzerland is required to attend classes, participate in events (e.g., belt tests, camps), and benefit from discounted equipment prices.
HMD Basel is member of WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organization) Switzerland which requires students to have a valid WAKO membership. This will ensure that the belts tests are recognized as WAKO Kickboxing.
Yearly Membership Fee is set to 60 CHF and it includes:
- HMD membership (30 CHF), renewed annually at the start of each sport season
- WAKO membership (30 CHF), renewed annually at the start of each sport season.
The WAKO membership doesn’t include the license to participate to tournaments which needs to be bought separately. WAKO Switzerland offers yearly or day licenses.
